# Conference

The Conference module enables multiple callers to join the same call, creating virtual meeting rooms for team discussions, client meetings, or training sessions.

## Setting It Up {#setting-it-up}

Creating a conference room is straightforward:

1. **Name**: Give your conference a descriptive name (e.g., "Sales Team Meeting" or "Client Training Room")

2. **PIN**: Optionally set a PIN code of up to 4 digits that participants must enter to join
   - Leave blank for open access
   - Use PINs for secure meetings
   - Each participant must enter the same PIN

To host multiple participants in a conference call, ensure you have enough channels:
- Toll-free numbers include 300 channels per number (usage-based billing applies)
- Local numbers come with 2 channels by default
- Contact support to add more channels to local numbers
